Now the faith in younger generation, the modern generation of Bharatvarsh, out of them will come the national workers. They only will work out the whole problem, like a lions.There is no mystery in religion_mystery mongering and superstition are the signs of weakness. Brave and bold men, The vigour in the blood, strength in the nerves, iron muscles and nerves of steel are the magnificent image of an youth. Avoid all mystery and namby-pamby ideas for the life-current.
Its a natural beauty of an youth is to be an atheist rather than superstitious fools, atheist is alive who can do something, but when superstition enters, the brain is gone and degradation has seized upon the life.
Wherever Truth, Purity and Unselfishness are present, no power below and above the sun to crush the possessor thereof. One individual is able to face the whole universe, Equipped with these.
Religion is the manifestation of the natural strength that is already in man....It is always a manifestation of strength. Go back to Upnishads_the shining, the strengthening_the bright Philosophy.
There must be freshness and vigour of thought behind making to make a virile race. More than enough to strengthen the whole world exists in the Upnishads....But it requires to be applied.
Believe not because an old manuscript has been produced, not because it has been handed down to you from your forefathers, because not your friends want_but think for yourself ; search truth for yourself ; realize it for yourself...Soft-brained men, weak-minded, chicken-hearted cannot find the truth in Upnishad's.
Our, must have a strong brain, a clear mind free of nonsensical ideas, one must pierce through the mass of superstitions encrusting his mind to the pure truth that is in his inmost Self. Then he will know that all perfections, all power are already within himself, that these have not to be given by others.
Have faith in yourself_all power is in you - be concious and bring it out. Have tremendous zeal to say that you can do everything "Even the poison of a snake is powerless if you firmly deny it." Beware ! Never say "No", never possess any negative thoughts.
ARISE, AWAKE AND STOP NOT TILL THE GOAL IS REACHED !
Arise, awake, for your country needs your sacrifice. It is the young men that will doit. " The young, energetic, the strong the well-built, the intellectual"_ for them is the task !
Come up, O lions, and shake off the delusion that you are sheep ; you are souls immortal, spirits free, blest and eternal ; ye are not matter, ye are not bodies ! matter is your servant, not you the servant of matter !!
Lay down your comforts, your pleasures, your names, your fames or position, nay, even your lives, and make a bridge of human chains over which millions will cross the ocean of life !
So long as the millions live in hunger and ignorance, I hold everyman a traitor who, having been educated at their hard work, pays not the least heed to them !
My child, what I want is muscles of iron and nerves of steel, inside which dwells a mind of the same material as that of which the thunderbolt is made. Strength, manhood may be built-up by : kshatriyavirya + bramhtej !

श्रीरामकृष्ण-विवेकानंद भेंट :
स्वामी विवेकानंद एक सौम्य, आकर्षक और अप्रतिम स्वस्थ शरीर के स्वामी थे I ब्रम्हचर्य के पालन से ज्ञान-बुद्धि का ओज और शक्तिशाली मष्तिष्क की तेजस्विता ने निश्चय ही उनके मुखमंडल को आलोकित कर रखा था I जहाँ व्यायामयुक्त दिनचर्या से गठित बलिष्ठ भुजाएं उनके अपरिमित बलशाली शारीरिक शक्ति को प्रदर्शित तो करती ही थी वँही सुन्दर नाक-नक्श के मुखमंडल के साथ मानों ऐसा लगता था कि ईश्वर ने भगवान् राम-कृष्ण की छवि और आदर्श, ज्ञान और बुद्धि की तीक्ष्णता, कर्म-धर्म और भक्ति का विवेक, भगवान् बुद्ध और अर्जुन की एकाग्रता, भीम और भीष्म का संकल्प और पौरुषता तथा वीर हनुमान की अदम्य साहसिक भक्ति और समर्पण को एक साथ एक ही व्यक्तित्व में रचा-गढ़ा है I दया-करूणा-प्रेम से लबालब अमृतमय स्वभाव, न्यायप्रियता और अनुशासनिक चरित्र के साथ सर्वोपरि कि जननी राष्ट्र-भूमि के लिए ह्रदय में अपार श्रद्धा तथा विश्व-बंधुत्व और मानवता के लिए अगाध स्नेह ने उन्हें निःसंदेह उन्हें अतुलनीय स्थान प्रदान करता है !
स्वामी विवेकानंद शैशवावस्था से ही स्वस्थ्य शरीर, तीक्ष्ण बुद्धि और प्रखर मेधा शक्ति के धनी बालक थे I उर्वर मष्तिष्क के स्वामी बालक नरेन्द्र की स्मरण शक्ति ऐसी थी कि पाठ्य-पुस्तक को पन्ना पलटते हुए समूल याद कर जाते थे I बैरिस्टर पिता विश्वनाथ दत्त के कितने ही मित्र विद्वान् नरेन्द्र के इस कौतुक भरी पढने की कला पर अभिभूत हो इन्हें दूसरा कालिदास की उपाधि से संबोधित करने लगे थे I उनके शिक्षक और विद्यालय में उनकी इस विलक्षण बुद्धि की सुगंध फ़ैल गयी थी नरेन्द्र पाठ को अपनी दृष्टिपात से ही समूल स्मरण कर लेता है I भयहीन बालक नरेन्द्र में साहस और बल भी कूट-कूट कर भरा था_एक बार घर के किसी कोने से वे जीवित नाग को अपनी बलिष्ठ नन्ही-नन्ही भुजा में कंठ से पकड़ खेलते हुए माँ के पास दौड़ते चले आये थे I अतुलित बलधाम बालक नरेन्द्र को लोग शिवांश मानने लगे थे !
आगे चलकर यही बालक नरेन्द्र नाथ दत्त विश्ववरेण्य स्वामी विवेकानंद नाम की संबोधन की प्रसिद्धि पाई !
SHIV GYAN SE JIV KI SEVA : Service to the man is service to the GOD
युवक नरेन्द्र को युवावस्था में ही ईश्वर के प्रत्यक्षानुभूति के प्रति लालसा बढती जा रही थी I वे प्रत्यक्ष अनुभव और अनुभूति को तथा दर्शन और साक्षात्कार को तार्किक व्याख्या से ऊपर रखते थे I ज्ञान-बुद्धि की प्रखरता की आत्मिक शक्ति के इसी दृढ-विश्वास ने नरेन्द्र नाथ दत्त को कलकत्ता के दक्षिणेश्वर मंदिर के उस महायोगी के सम्मुख ला खड़ा किया जिसके भक्ति की गाथा से सम्पूर्ण बंगाल अभिभूत हुआ जा रहा था I नरेन्द्र की जिज्ञासा ईश्वर के अस्तित्व की प्रामाणिकता के प्रति चेष्टा मात्र नहीं थी बल्कि यदि ईश्वर होते हैं तो उनकी प्रत्यक्षानुभूति कैसे सम्भव हुआ जा सकता है उसे आत्मसात कर लेने की थी !
उस देवऋषि श्री रामकृष्ण और योगऋषि स्वामी विवेकानंद का प्रथम साक्षात्कार तो एक संयोग मात्र था उस रहस्य के उदघाटन का जिसके द्वारा इस आधुनिक काल में ईश्वर की स्व-अनुभूति प्रमाणिक स्वयं-सिद्ध हो सका I अनेकानेक विदेशी लूटेरों, आततायियों, आक्रमणकारियों के आतंक से भारत नित्य-नित्य व्यथित हो चूका था I वे सभी अत्याचारी भारत का धन तो लूट ले जाते ही थे पर साथ ही इसके ज्ञान की संस्कृति पर आधारित सभ्यता को भी विनष्ट करने से बाज नहीं आते थे, भारत का ज्ञान अनुभव, अनुभूति और साक्षात्कार की प्रमाणिकता की संस्कृति से लोक-लोक में समाहित थी I
LIVING GOD
If there is a GOD, we must see Him ; if there is a soul we must perceive it ; otherwise it is better to be an outspoken atheist than a hypocrite.
Religion not in doctrines, in dogmas, nor in intellectual argumentation ; it is being and becoming ; it is realisation.
No life will be a failure ; there is no such a thing as failure in the universe. A hundred times man will hurt himself, a thousand times he will tumble, but in the end he will realise that he is God.

MAN MAKING IS MY MISSION
Religion is the manifestation of the Divinity already in man. Religion is the manifestation of the natural; strength that is in man.
Religion is the idea which is raising the brute unto man, and man unto God.
" Man making is my mission " humanity was the stress of Swami Vivekananda. He used to say it is a man who can do everything, a man can drink the ocean and crumble the mountain hills. It is a man only who can prove the country's potential, but unless the level of the average men and women in that given country is high that country cannot be said to be great. Indeed, a countrycan produce one or two great men, but this is no guarantee that that country will also be great. A country's future depends upon its people_how good, intellegent and capable they are.

The only GOD to worship is the human soul in the human body. If I can't worship in that, no other temple will be of any advantage.

SERVE MAN AS GOD
" प्रत्येक आत्मा एक अव्यक्त ब्रम्ह है" आवश्यकता है आंतरिक और बाह्य प्रकृति को वशीभूत कर अपने अन्तर्निहित देवत्व के प्रकाश को विकसित कर लेने का ! हम इस देवत्व के अनंत सत, अनंत चित, और अनंत आनंद के अथाह कोष को जितना ही अधिक अभिव्यक्त कर लेते हैं उतना ही हम स्थायी सुख की अनुभूति और परम ज्ञान की उपलब्धि करते है !
हम मनुष्य के व्यक्तित्व में ऐसा समन्वित विकास चाहते है_ " जिसका ह्रदय विशाल हो, मन में सर्वोच्चता का भाव हो और कर्म में महानता हो और साथ ही संसार के दुःख - दर्द की गंभीरता को ह्रदय से समझने का अनुभव कर सके !"
उपनिषदों के प्रत्येक पृष्ठ मुझे शक्ति का सन्देश देता है I समस्त जीवन में मैंने यही महाशिक्षा प्राप्त की है - उपनिषद कहते हैं, हे मानव, तेजस्वी बनो, वीर्यवान बनो, दुर्बलताओं को त्यागो I
जो हमारी जाति को शक्तिहीन कर सकती है, हमारी जाति में ऐसी दुर्बलताओं का प्रवेश कुछेक हजारों सालों में ही हुआ है I हे बंधुगण, तुम्हारी और मेरी नसों में एक ही जीवन-मरण है I मैं कहता हूँ कि हमको शक्ति, केवल शक्ति ही चाहिय I और उपनिषद शक्ति की विशाल खान है I उपनिषदों में ऐसी प्रचुर शक्ति विद्यमान है कि वे समस्त संसार को तेजस्वी बना सकते हैं I उनके द्वारा सम्पूर्ण संसार पुनरुज्जीवित, सशक्त और वीर्यसंपन्न हो सकता है I
भारत जागो ! विश्व जगाओ !!

Salutation to that king of renouncers and controller of passion, the sage, Swami Vivekananda who is Satchidananda ( Existance, Knowledge and Bliss Absolute ) itself,
the spiritual preceptor, the remover of distress !
" स्वामी विवेकानंद जी स्वयं एक घनीभूत भारत थे " स्वामी विवेकानंद जी का परिचय था ; भारतवर्ष स्वामीजी के गम्भीरमय आवेग का केंद्र था ......भारतवर्ष था उनका दिवास्वप्न, भारतवर्ष था उनके रात्रि का दुह्स्वप्न I वे स्वयं हो गए थे एक भारत_हो गए थे रक्त-मांस के गढ़े भारत प्रतिमा I वस्तुतः स्वामीजी की सम्पूर्ण तेजोमय सत्ता से भारत प्रेम फूट पड़ता था I जब वे इंडिया शब्द का उच्चारण करते थे तब उनमें इतना गर्व, इतना प्रेम, इतना स्वप्न झलकता था कि उसे जो भी सुनता वही भारतवर्ष से प्रेम करने लगता था I स्वामी जी के मन में भारतवर्ष के प्रति इतना प्रेम केवल इसलिए नहीं था कि भारतवर्ष उनकी मातृभूमि थी I भारत आदर्श की नीवं पर स्थित एक सत्य स्वरुप पुण्यभूमि था, इसका प्रत्येक धूलकण उनके लिए पवित्र था ! स्वामी विवेकानंदजी ने उस भारत का आविष्कार किया जो सत-चित्त पवित्र और पुण्य था I उन्होंने बीच समुद्र में कन्याकुमारी के अंतिम शिलाखंड पर बैठ कर भारत का ध्यान किया था I निःसंदेह दुनियां के वे पहले सन्यासी थे जिनके ध्यान का विषय था _ देश ! वास्तव में स्वामीजी ने भारत की परिक्रमा कर भारत का अन्वेषण किया था I स्वामीजी ने भारत की उपलब्धि करने की साधना की थी और उनकी यह अराध्य्देवी भारतमाता ने भी मानों उनकी साधना से प्रसन्न होकर अपना सम्पूर्ण रहस्य उनके सामने रख दिया I भारतवर्ष के अतीत का इतिहास, भारत के वर्तमान की समस्याएं और भविष्य का प्रयोजन सभी कुछ स्वामीजी के चिंतन में स्पष्ट रूप से समाविष्ट है I
नोबेल पुरस्कार से सम्मानित कविवर रविन्द्रनाथ टैगोर ने फ़्रांसिसी दार्शनिक रोमाँ रोला को स्वामी जी का परिचय इस प्रकार से दिया था_ " यदि तुम भारत को जानना चाहते हो तो स्वामी विवेकानंद को पढो I"
राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गाँधी ने यह स्वीकार किया है कि_" स्वामीजी की रचनायें पढने से उनके मन में स्वदेशप्रेम की भावनाएं हजारगुना बलवती हुयी है I"
स्वामी विवेकानंद जी की ऐसी वाणी थी जिसके कारण किशोर सुभाषचंद्र बोस के जीवन में देशप्रेम की भावना ने उथल-पुथल मचा कर रख दिया था_बाद में नेताजी सुभाष चन्द्र बोस जिन्होंने " विवेकानंद जी की जीवनी को युवा-तरुण वर्ग के चरित्र गठन के लिए " सर्वोत्कृष्ट उपयोगी साहित्य " पढने की सलाह दी थी I
चक्रवर्ती राजगोपालाचारी ने स्वामी विवेकानंद जी को भारत की स्वाधीनता का जनक मान कर कहा था कि _ स्वामीजी हमारे राजनैतिक, सांस्कृतिक और आध्यात्मिक स्वाधीनता के पिता हैं I "
स्वामी विवेकानंदजी के घनीभूत व्यक्तित्व का यह एक भाग है जहां हम पाते हैं कि वे भारत प्रेमी थे ; वे एक ऐसे योद्धा सन्यासी थे जिनके तेजोमय शरीर से देश प्रेम फूट पड़ता दिखाई देता है ; स्वामीजी ने ही सर्व प्रथम भारत को 'सत्य' कहकर संबोधित किया है ; स्वामी जी भारत के राष्ट्रिय चेतना के प्रथम उन्नायक थे I परन्तु स्वामी जी का गौण परिचय मात्र है यह राष्ट्रिय चरित्र, उनके अविजित व्यक्तित्व का दूसरा पक्ष है उनके विश्व बंधुत्व का जहां उन्होंने कहा है कि भारत की मृत्यु होने पर 'सत्य' की मृत्यु हो जाएगी, धर्म लुप्त हो जाएगा, समस्त उच्च चिंतन मिट जाएगा I केवल भारत के लिए ही भारत का अस्तित्व को बने रहना आवश्यक नहीं वरन विश्व के लिए भी भारत का अस्तित्व आवश्यक है I क्योंकि भारत सारे के सारे पृथ्वी का धर्मगुरु है, विश्व मानवता का सबसे बड़ा रखवाला है भारतवर्ष ! उनका वास्तविक परिचय है उनका मानव बन्धु होना I देशप्रेम ने उन्हें संकीर्णता में नहीं बाँधा है, वल्कि सभी राष्ट्र उनके अपने थे और सभी मनुष्य ही उनके अपने जन थे I उनकी सभी वक्त्रित्वा सभी राष्ट्र के सभी जातियों के लिए सामान रूप में उपयोगी है, जो हर युगों तक मानव का हितकारी सिद्ध है I
स्वामीजी के विश्व चिंतन में हम पाते हैं कि उन्होंने पाश्चात्य सभ्यता को इंगित कर उन्हें सचेत करते हुए भी कहा था कि वे अपनी शारीरिक क्षमता को विज्ञानं से जोड़ कर धन-समृधि, भोग और सम्पदा का विकास करने में तल्लीन है वहीँ उसके राष्ट्रिय जीवन लक्ष्यहीन होकर रह गया हैं, केवल इन्द्रिय-सुख पर सभ्य-जीवन टिकी नहीं रह सकती, इन्द्रिय-सुख ही मानव का सर्वोपरि लक्ष्य नहीं है ! पश्चिमी देशों की कर्म कुशलता और गतिशील कर्मठता उन्हें जहां ख़ुशी प्रदान करता था वहीँ उनके 'भोग-सर्वस्व' उन्हें चिंतित भी करता था I पश्चिमी देशों वे सिर्फ भोग में आवद्ध मनुष्यता को देखकर सचेत करते हुए कहा था भोग_मात्र भोग कदापि नहीं ; भोग तो रहे साथ ही मनुष्यत्व का मान-सम्मान भी बढे I स्वामीजी पश्चिम को आगे कहते हैं मनुष्य के भीतर जो देवता सोया है उसे जगाना होगा I मनुष्य को देवत्व में प्रतिष्ठित करना होगा I शिक्षा-दीक्षा, धन-सम्पति, सामाजिक-जीवन, धर्म-कर्म सबका एकमात्र लक्ष्य है_इस मानव रूपी देह में देवत्व का विकास ! इन उपायों का निर्देश भी उन्होंने दिया है I

SWAMI VIVEKANANDA'S RELEVANCE
Swami Vivekananda's relevance dependsnot onthe nature of the problems which we face but on the spirit of with which those problems have to be untackled. His stress was on man himself, for, given the right kind of man, no problem need be daunting. " Man-making is my mission", he used to say. Indeed, a country's future depends upon it's people--how good, intellegent and capable they are. Any country can produce one or two great men, but this is no guarantee that that country will be great. That may prove the country's potential, but unless the level of the average men and women in a given country is high that country cannot be said to be great.
Nothing Swami Vivekanandaji preached is outdated. He preached modern thoughts, but he was a far-seeing man to whom the immediate alone was not important, so was what was to follow in distant future. He was interested in everything concerning man_not only religion, but also science, art, literature, history, politics, in short, everything. His views on some of these subjects were also radical. For instance, he wanted India to have a caste-less, classless and non-competitive society.
He also was an admirer of Islam to the extent that it did not encourage any class or cast distinction. He said that she should have an Islamic body with Vedantic brains.
First bread and then Religion
Swamiji knew that the strength of a nation lay not in its size or wealth but in its character. It was his hope that India would set an example of how science and religion could meet, science taking care of man's physical needs and religion of his moral and spiritual needs.He realised that no society could survive its human element was good and strong. He was impressed by the West's dynamism, power of organisation, and its achievements in science and technolog. But at the same time he also noticed its proccupation with sense-pleasure and indifference about moral development. He knew there could be no peace for the individual and no progress for society as whole unless there was a happy balance between the material prosperity and moral advancement.
The poverty of India troubled Vivekanandaji's mind Touring rural india, he had seen the misery of the people. He had, at the same time been struck by their noble character. He hated the British because they had drained the country's wealth in a systematic manner. He also hated the so-called upper class Indians no less for their selfishnessand callousness about the conditions of their own countrymen.
But how could the problem of poverty be solved ?
He thought the solution of the problem lay in science and technology. India must make wide use of Western Science and Technology to create an industrial revolution in the country. He had seen how the west had won its battle of against poverty through science and technology.He wanted that in fighting poverty India should follow in the footstep of the West, but in no other matter should she imitate it.
Swamiji was impressed by the material prosperity of the west, but he has also observed how it had blunted its moral perception. He wanted that India should attain the same material prosperity yet retain her love for moral value. People in the west had a craze for sense-pleasure, which Swamiji did not like. He wanted to combine material prosperity with deep moral sensitivity. This has been the Indian way throughout her history.
Swamiji obviously had a hunch that this would be the situation if India followed Western metods in her politics, which he warned India against imitating. The West is by nature exclusive and, therefore, intolerant. India, on the other hand, always welcomed new ethenic groups and with them, new thoughts and ways of life, absorbing them and making them her own.Where are the Greeks, Scythians, the mangols and the Huns today ? They have all merged into the Indian identity. India today is a fine mosaic of many races, cultures and traditions all knit together by cords of mutual love and goodwill. India has always been multi-racial and multi-religious.
